Many courts require that a matter be submitted to a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) before the case can proceed to trial. Mediation (sometimes referred to as a settlement conference) is a process wherein the parties meet with a ‘neutral” (usually a retired judge or an attorney trained in mediation) in an effort to reach an amicable resolution to the dispute giving rise to the lawsuit.

Over the years, we have participated in hundreds of mediations or settlement conferences. The value of mediation as a means of resolving disputes continues to grow. Mediation can save time, money and the aggravation and frustration that comes with litigation.

We are experienced in both participating in mediations and acting as a neutral. Having completed a 40 hour training course in mediation provides the insight to properly represent our clients and to assist others in resolving disputes. We offer mediation services in our office, or at a location agreeable to the parties involved.
